Scottish charity stroll into headlines as Edinburgh PR agency step it up
Edinburgh PR agency experts shared Paths for All’s take on an encouraging government study, showing Scots are walking more than ever before.
The Scottish Household Survey, was a positive sign for the charity who champion the benefits of walking on physical, mental and social health.
It found that 82% of adults had walked for at least 30 minutes in the four weeks leading up to the survey with participants ranging across a large number of ages, backgrounds, abilities, and genders.
Paths for All were delighted to see participation in physical activity remain high across all groups and were keen to share this with the media generating fantastic results including:
- 25 items of coverage, in print, online, and across social media
- 274,662 opportunities to see across national, regional, local, business, and trade-specialist publications
- Key Features in The Herald, The Gazette, and Third Force News
We conducted an interview with Paths for All Chief Executive, Kevin Lafferty to discuss the findings of the report and gain more insight into the charity’s mission.
We drafted a press release, condensing the key findings of the study into an easy-to-understand story, and issued the release to the press receiving an abundance of coverage across national, regional, local, business, and trade-specialist publications.
This coverage helped to cerement Paths for All’s mission and how people can champion walking too, with national features putting out its aims to a huge potential audience. Additionally, the regional coverage helps establish the charity within local communities, helping to further expose its key messages.
