The Corinthian Club Press releases

Sheenashona Jewellery, Cullinan Diamond Sheenashona Jewellery is set to make a glittering addition to the Glasgow shopping scene as it sets up shop in one of the city’s most show-stopping destination venues.

The Scottish duo behind the brand, Sheena Jack and Shona Bain, have teamed up with The Corinthian Club on Ingram Street to launch its first ever retail premises – Sheenashona Diamond at Boutique.

Launched in 2011 Sheenashona specialises in creating and selling sterling silver and gold jewellery collections complete with diamonds and pearls. The brand has grown steadily since launching an online store in 2012 and hopes to further cement this growth as part of this latest retail venture.

Sheenashona will now become a long term feature at The Corinthain Club’s Boutique Bar, following on from the successful six week ‘pop-up’ store at the venue late last year.

This is the first time that The Corinthian Club has taken on a more long term partnership such as this and is looking forward to attracting interest from the vibrant Glasgow shopping and tourism scene.

Sheenashona officially launched its retail premise with a launch event late last month, which introduced  a stunning new showcase collection including a unique rock crystal replicas of the renowned Cullinan Diamond – the largest diamond ever found.

Ballet Dancers at Launch EventShona Bain said: “We are very excited about our new store at The Corinthian Club. The venue offers the perfect location for our first ever store, as the beauty and elegance of the building and more specifically the stunning Boutique room, really compliments the simple elegance of our jewellery.

“Our new space means clients can come in and browse our collection in a non intimidating environment. They can enjoy a glass of champagne or even afternoon tea, while browsing our collections.

“We want our customers to take their time and really experience the jewellery, trying them on rather than simply looking at them from behind a glass case. It’s all about helping them find the perfect piece of jewellery for them.”

As well as showcasing its extensive range of jewellery  Boutique bar will also allow Sheenashona to create jewellery themed exhibits throughout the year, which will focus on the history of jewellery as well as the provenance of the collections and pieces on offer.

Displays and exhibits will also provide customers with information on how pearls and diamonds are sourced as well as some of the precious metals used in the creation of the pieces – helping create an overall shopping experience designed to entice customers.

As part of Sheenashona Diamonds at Boutique displays feature replicas of the Cullinan Diamond – nine principal stones cut from rock crystal.

The Corinthian Club, is one of Glasgow’s leading destination venues and is renowned for hosting launch events for some of the country’s leading brands including Johnnie Walker and LK Bennett .
