Former Scotland rugby grand slam winner, David Leslie, hit headlines in The Herald following his appointment to workplace design company Space Solutions, following an expert PR campaign by Edinburgh PR company the Holyrood PR.
The architect, who graduated with honours form Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art, in Dundee, suffered a near fatal accident after falling from roof of his home in Broughty Ferry, on to concrete flagstones.
The former Scotland International player of the year made a miraculous recovery after doctors believed he might never be able to walk again.
The Scottish broadsheet explained how the first class honours graduate overcame a hand tremour in his right hand by teaching himself to write with his left hand and by undertaking a “two-and-a-half-hour driving test to prove the recovery of both mechanical and mental strength”.
The Herald said: “Against all odds, the man who designed the Carnoustie Golf Course Hotel returned to work this year as an architect with the construction consultants, Space Solutions.”
The full story appeared in The Herald newspaper. The PR in Scotland for Space Solutions is handled by Holyrood PR public relations in Edinburgh.
