Away from generic match day hospitality, in-house caterers at Pittodrie in Aberdeen, Sodexo Prestige, went the extra mile to welcome Spanish fans to the stadium- securing great coverage in local title, Evening Express.
The home of the Mighty Dons said ole to hoards of Spanish fans as Aberdeen Football Club went head-to-head with Real Sociedad in its Europa League Match last week.
The venue’s expert catering team even designed a Spanish themed menu featuring ‘Lento Lomo Asado de Cerdo’, a slow roasted loin of Perthshire pork, served with black-eyed beans, tomatoes and Mediterranean vegetables, all served in the Aberdeen Asset Management Suite.
Boosting the venue’s profile in the Granite City, local paper Evening Express helped cement Sodexo Prestige’s commitment to using locally sourced and sustainable produce in its piece which is circulated to an audience of 44,038 people- many of which will supporters of the Mighty Dons.
