A winning story helps to secure Sodexo’s place in national, local and specialist media

OUR CLIENT Sodexo, the catering team behind some of the country’s top venues, has scored a wealth of coverage after being awarded a new three year contract with Tannadice Park, the home of Scottish Premier League team, Dundee United.

In fact the contract catering experts scored a memorable coverage hat-trick – with articles in three different types of media: the most respected local newspapers, far-reaching national news giants and highly-credible specialist and trade titles.

Some of the highlights included:

• Online coverage on The Courier – leading regional publication for the Dundee and Tayside areas
• Features online on specialist and trade publications, such as The Caterer and Travel and Tour World
• A fantastic feature online on one of Scotland’s biggest news websites, the Daily Record online

Our story told how Sodexo will be providing the Stadium with hospitality, conference and banqueting services.  The catering giant will also be providing delegates of the club with bespoke catering and events packages via their latest offering, Prestige Venues & Events.

The appointemt at Tannadice represents the company’s second site in Dundee, as it already provides in-house catering to the city’s Discovery Point visitor attraction.

Sodexo also holds contracts with Hampden Park, the home of Scottish football, as well as Pittodrie, home to the Dons in Aberdeen, making Tannadice Park its third Scottish football contract.

It is anticipated that the new contract win will help boost  the club’s growth and will also help influence tourists to visit the city as part of the wider Water Front development, set to see a £1bn regeneration of the city.
