OUR social care PR experts utilised all our resources to ensure Bield Housing and Care’s 50th anniversary was a hit success.

2021 marks Bield’s 50th year in operation in the sector, so when Bield came to HPR for help, our team pulled out all the stops to create a night of success.

Putting our heads together, our team brainstormed COVID safe ideas to help customers and staff at Bield celebrate the occasion, including live music performances, celebrity video messages and guest speakers.

Due to lockdown restrictions, Bield were not able to host an in-person event, but that didn’t stop Holyrood PR who came up with the idea of the Big Night In.

The Big Night in is an 8-minute-long video filled with video content such as facts about Bield over the last 50 years, guest speakers and congratulations messages from some of Scotland’s most popular celebrities.

HPR liaised with former customers and staff from Bield to get positive messages about Bield, as well as securing video content from Jason Leitch, David Gray, Sanjeev Singh Kholi, Mark Cox and Sally Thomas.

As well as helping to plan and organise the Big Night In, we drafted a release about the event which saw the following results,

As 50 years is such a big achievement, it was crucial that as well as helping Bield with the Big Night In, we shared the story with the world.

Coverage in SFHA is valuable to Bield as it establishes it as a leader of its sector and provides valuable recognition of its achievements in the sector over the last 50 years.

The range of coverage also meant The Big Night in was seen by more people and Bield’s achievements shared on a wider scale.
