SOCIAL CARE PR experts shared the positive news of an Edinburgh care homes cycling initiative aiming to integrate elderly residents back into the community.

With restrictions easing, Cramond Residence was delighted to resume its partnership with Joy Rides – a customised electric tri-shaw bike that carries two passengers and a “driver”.

Our Care PR experts distributed the story, delivering the following results:

  • 13 items of coverage across online, print and social publications
  • 148,389 opportunities to see
  • Impressive coverage in the regional newspaper, Edinburgh Evening News and The Edinburgh Reporter
  • Coverage in trade outlets including The Carer Weekly and Care Info

After an interview with Joy Rides founder Lissa McIntyre, our team drafted a press release detailing the initiative. The release was shared with local Edinburgh titles as well as specific care and trade publications.

The valuable media coverage not only put Cramond Residence at the forefront of its own sector, it also put the name in front of thousands of local families who may be thinking about choosing or using a care service for a loved one.

Whilst positioning the home as a forward-thinking home that puts the needs and enjoyment of its residents first.

Cramond Residence, a care home that houses up to 74 people, have said that the care home was purpose built for enhanced infection control and therefore provides efficient anti-viral measures against any virus.
