Recently crowned ‘best vocalist in Scotland’s exclusive Blackwood performance receives hit coverage, thanks to social care PR experts

CUSTOMERS at Blackwood’s Broom Court care home in Stirling were treated to a digital performance by one of Scotland’s most exciting singers, Georgia Cécile, along with her talented pianist boyfriend Fraser Urquhart.

The pair pre-recorded a half-hour special performance including some of Cécile’s favourite songs, with the artist eager to be involved in the project after hearing about it through the Edinburgh Jazz and Blues Festival.

The Holyrood PR campaign got to work at a campaign to spread the feel-good story, with highlights including:

  • Over 144,000 opportunities to see
  • 15 coverage hits across print, online and social media
  • Shared to The Edinburgh Reporter’s Twitter page with over 61,700 followers
  • Local coverage in The Stirling Observer & Shopper, ideal for a Stirling based care home
  • Reported on national publication Deadline News website

Our team of social care PR experts used our contacts to roll the story out to national, regional, local, and specialist platforms, making sure the Blackwood name was placed in front of not just a large audience, but also the right one.

As mentioned it was crucial to make sure the story got as much local coverage as possible, as the people local Stirling will be the most likely to be potential customers for Broom Court.
