CUSTOMERS at Blackwood’s Broom Court care home in Stirling were treated to a digital performance by one of Scotland’s most exciting singers, Georgia Cécile, along with her talented pianist boyfriend Fraser Urquhart.
The duo pre-recorded a half-hour special performance, including some of Cécile’s favourite songs, which was broadcast to customers at Broom Court care home.
The Holyrood PR team got to work at a campaign to spread the feel-good story, with highlights including:
- Over 144,000 opportunities to see
- 15 coverage hits across print, online and social media
- Shared to The Edinburgh Reporter’s Twitter page with over 61,700 followers
- Local coverage in The Stirling Observer & Shopper, the top target
for the local care home
- Reported on national publication Deadline News website
Our team of social care PR experts used our contacts to roll the story out to national, regional, local, and specialist platforms, making sure the Blackwood name was placed in front of not just a large audience, but also the right one for Blackwood.
We worked closely with the Edinburgh Jazz and Blues Festival, Georgia, Blackwood, and Broom Court care home, to gather all of the details and pictures to make this not only an interesting story, but a well-crafted one which would catch the eye of the media and ensure a successful story for our client.
Local coverage was key for this story, putting Blackwood and Broom Court in front of local Stirling families and potential customers, sharing the exciting and fun activities which take place regularly at the care home.
