The care home’s sportsmanship wins a place in the media headlines thanks to Social Care PR team
OUR social care PR team shot into the headlines after hosting its own Olympics, encouraging residents to get involved in some friendly competition and activities.
The activities included, basketball, pool, Jenga and a sports quiz, all organised by the Mansfield Care staff at Pine Villa in Midlothian.
With an array of fantastic pictures of the residents with their sports gear and smiles all around, our expert team got to work telling the story.
The results included:
- 20 items of coverage
- 170,747 opportunities to see
- Trade coverage in The Carer, Care Choices and The Carer Weekly print
- Valuable local coverage in Midlothian Advertiser, The Edinburgh Reporter and North Edinburgh News
The Holyrood PR team got in touch with staff and residents at Pine Villa, to find out all about the activities that were planned for the Olympics, and then arranged a photo call to capture the residents geared up for their day of events.
The team then drafted a press release aimed at local and trade media, bringing in a host of valuable results, hitting Mansfield Care’s target audience perfectly.
By securing coverage across local and care media, the team ensured that the bespoke care and services provided at Mansfield Care are seen by families and residents living in the area as well as families looking out to learn more about care services for a loved one.
