Pupils at St Peter’s Primary School, Galashiels, held a school competition to capture images of the town – then residents at Mansfield Care’s, Galahill House, were asked to judge the results.
Our social care PR team spotted the potential in this heartwarming community story and we shared it with the media, bringing in impressive results including:
- Nine items of coverage

Residents at Galahill House have an ongoing relationship with St Peter’s Primary and previously enjoyed a host of activities such as Christmas concerts, scavenger hunts and Halloween parties.
As well as drafting the release, our social care PR experts ensured there were a host of pictures to accompany the release that included shots of the children’s photography and the residents judging them.
The release was the issued to a wide range of news outlets, including local and specialist media ensuring a host of coverage across Mansfield Care’s key target media titles.
The range of specialist coverage across print and online ensured Mansfield Care’s most important key messages got in front of older people or their families who are considering or choosing a care home.
