on behalf of Clyde Munro Dental Group
Our Scottish health PR team secured the dental group extensive coverage on recent expansion
AS CLYDE MUNRO DENTAL GROUP heads towards the 50-mark in practices acquired across Scotland, our health PR team told the individual stories of its three most recent acquisitions, and its incredible achievement of reaching a 400,000-patient landmark.
The focus was on ensuring long-term security and retention of local identity for these highly-regarded practices within their respective communities. Long-established dental practices have a strong rapport with the surrounding community, so it was crucial for us to drive this home.
We issued four releases following the Group’s multiple acquisitions since the turn of the year.
Our health PR team delivered:
- 20 items of coverage over online, print, and social media
- 645,103 opportunities to see
- Key local coverage including in Perthshire Advertiser Series, Wishaw Press, and Alloa and Hillfoots advertiser
- Impressive national coverage in The Courier, Daily Record, and The Scotsman
- Coverage in specialist and business news including in Insider, Scottish Financial News, and Dental Review News
To kick things off, we developed an important catch-all story aimed at business, finance, and specialist media – highlighting the milestone 400,000 patients that Clyde Munro has garnered and will be providing the highest standard of care for throughout the pandemic.
By gaining coverage in targeted specialist and business media, we showed the business triumphs of Clyde Munro, as well as its commitment to ensuring safe and high-quality care to patients.
To engage with local communities, we focused on the latest additions to the Clyde Munro family in Perth, Alloa, and Wishaw. We also grabbed the chance to secure interviews and professional photography for the practice in Perth, to personally connect with the local community by focusing on their dedication to the local people and hopes for the future.
Bolstered by our emphasis on the exclusively Scottish operation of Clyde Munro, we reiterated the commitment to the respective local areas and prioritisation of the character of the long-established practices, reflecting the unique needs of the communities they serve.
Clyde Munro has enjoyed rapid growth since 2015 following the acquisition of seven practices – with our dedicated Health PR team helping along the way.
Its ambition is to become Scotland’s “local dentist” by operating an expanding network of family dentists across Scotland, providing the best dental care whilst reflecting the needs and character of the community it serves.
