Adamo outfit designed by NKD ClothingA Stirling hotel group’s smart new appearance has been attracting praise from customers after staff were fitted out with a new, contemporary look.

The Adamo Hotel Group at Adamo Bridge of Allan Hotel recently brought in leading bespoke corporate clothing supplier NKD Clothing to give staff a fresh look that was in tune with the hotel’s identity.

NKD Clothing designed stylish outfits for bar, restaurant and housekeeping staff in a muted grey, olive green and brown to complement the colour scheme of the venue.

NKD Clothing supplied around 80 uniforms for the staff across two venues – the Bridge of Allan site last year and the re-branded Osta, now called ADAMO in Stirling City Centre.

According to Adamo Operations Director Rodney Doig the idea was to achieve a look that supported the hotel’s ethos.

He said: “We have created a boutique hotel with a difference, one that is on a par with any other in the world, within in a rich Scottish region – and our uniforms are vitally important in creating this image.

“I was very impressed with the hands-on approach NKD Clothing offered. They kept us very involved at each stage and even let the staff test-run some of the uniforms. This continual working relationship ensured we got the very best uniforms that really summed up what we are about.

“The look has gone down really well with customers commenting on how smart everyone looks.”

Gill Eastgate, Managing Director at NKD Clothing, which has ten staff based at its office and warehouse in Edinburgh, said: “We had a very clear vision from Adamo management what they wanted to achieve with this refurbishment.

“We chose the muted tones as this tied in with the hotel’s colours, as well as the surrounding area. The sleek shirt and tie combination creates a sophisticated look and the staff seem to love their new uniforms.”

NKD clothing continues to defy current economic conditions, refusing to compromise quality and attracting like minded clients who see the recession as an opportunity to transform their business and boost staff morale.

The company is already established as one of the UK’s leading designers and providers of bespoke uniforms, work wear and corporate clothing, existing clients include leading hotel chains Malmaison, Hotel du Vin and Dakota.
