Edinburgh Radio Station Hits The Air for PR Scotland.
Leith FM relaunched as 98.8 Castle FM in a bid to bring the station to a wider Edinburgh audience.
The station, will celebrate its fifth anniversary in Edinburgh and has completed a £10,000 project to create state-of-the-art studio at its Leith premises.
Entrepreneur and ‘Leith statesman’, Sir Tom Farmer, pressed the button to mark the switch over to the new rebranded station.
Donny Hughes, business development manager at the station expects the rebranding to be a huge success in attracting listeners and business opportunties across the city.
Known for its focus on the community, it has been emphasised that the rebranding will not change this and the eclectic mix of radio shows will continue.
Guest speakers began the reception and an open top bus escorted cheerleaders and speakers to race through the city before a reception at South African styled bar Shebeen.
