Security Advice Equals Headline PR in Scotland for Channel 6

Channel 6 Blog

Scotland on Sunday editorialA national Scottish newspaper has reported on a key e-commerce safety message from Channel 6 Multimedia.

The Edinburgh-based web design and internet marketing company gave advice on how internet retailers could protect customers when buying things from their online stores.

Channel 6 client services director, Kate Little, was quoted in the piece by Scotland on Sunday columnist Michelle Rodger explaining how compliance can become a unique selling point for a company rather than an extra box to tick.

The article, which ran under the headline “Informed choices on compliance can pay big rewards” explained new rules from the Payment Card Industry standards.

Under the new rules, merchants processing fewer than 20,000 e-commerce card transactions a year could face a block on payments or risk substantial fines if they do not meet the new requirements.
