A new website designed to give people a say on a new Primark store for Edinburgh has been reported upon in a business publication.
Popular business newspaper – Business 7 – has told how the website, http://www.primarkedinburgh.co.uk, aims to help the fashion retailer communicate with shoppers and other interested parties.
The site is being promoted by Holyrood Partnership public relations Edinburgh in order to meet new planning consultation requirements in Scotland.
The article, which ran under the headline “Primark website for store planning” told how the new store was likely to open in 2011.
A Primark spokesman was quoted as saying: “Edinburgh is world-famous for its architecture and is growing in importance as a shopping destination and we have long wanted a presence in the city. Since our plans are for a flagship store in an iconic location, it is important we hear all views and that the process is done thoughtfully.”
