Scottish Licensed Trade News (SLTN) revealed that Rick’s managed to get their customers in a stir thanks to a giant cocktail shaker.

The newly refurbished Edinburgh bar, which is part of the Montpeliers (Edinburgh) group, who operate an eight-strong portfolio of award-winning hotels, bars and restaurants, brought the cocktail shaker over exclusively from New York to make an exciting range of new cocktails.

Rick’s mixologist Mal Spence told SLTN: “We will be using it to make the punchbowl – the earliest form of the cocktail – which dates back to 1500’s.”
