A Scottish events company which plans  luxurious weddings for its clients, has found itself in a real life ‘Bride Wars’ situation, as three recently engaged employees plan their upcoming nuptials, including two due to take place on the very same day.

Almost half of the employees at Edinburgh based Roselle Events and sister company Thirty Eleven Seventy, are in the midst of planning their big day, and friendships are set to be tested when both the firm’s Managing Director, Charlotte McIntosh and Business Development Manager, Amanda Kirk say ‘I do’ simultaneously.

Rebecca Williams, Senior Event Manager at Roselle is also set to walk down the aisle just two weeks after Charlotte and Amanda and all three ladies will be taking notes from Tiffany Sharp another member of the team who tied the knot this summer.

Charlotte McIntosh, 30, said: “Our office is full off wedding fever at the moment with almost half my staff either getting married or having just been married.

“We are all sharing tips and ideas with each other which is great, but I suppose you don’t want to give too much away about your big day as you want it to be a surprise for everyone.

“Amanda and I are getting married on the same day which we still can’t believe is happening. We just keep joking to the girls in the office about who’s going to whose wedding, even saying they should split their time between the two.”

The team at Roselle which is used to organising a wide range of events for corporate and business clients has also looked at what its sister company Thirty Eleven Seventy is doing for a range of weddings it is planning in the next coming months.

Amanda Kirk, 28 said: “We are all definitely getting into the spirit of weddings not only chatting to each other about ideas but drawing inspiration from Thirty Eleven Seventy’s plans for some amazing weddings it is planning over the next few months.

“What’s great is that we all have fairly different personalities so that even though our weddings are taking place at the same time, they will probably be very different.

“It’s an exciting time in the office with a mixture of organising a range of different events for other people whilst also looking at different ideas we can use for our own special days.”

Charlotte is getting married on her parent’s farm in Banchory in a marquee while Amanda will marry at historic Errol Park between Perth and Dundee.  Rebecca, heads abroad for her nuptials to Tuscany in Italy, where she will be joined by her family and friends.

Roselle which has offices in Aberdeen and Edinburgh has a decade of experience in working with a range of blue chip clients organising events which include conferences, incentive and recognition days, award dinners, dinner dances and product launches.

It also provides innovative event solutions in the UK & worldwide with event theming, event branding and registration website solutions on a separate basis.
