EUROPE’S premier junior golf tournament has received another piece of high profile press coverage ahead of its 2011 event thanks to Scottish PR.

The U.S. Kids Golf European Championship was featured in the East Lothian Courier, which highlighted how the prestigious competition was returning the links in the region this year.

The tournament has become one of the main events in the junior golf calendar, with around 500 kids from more than 30 countries expected to attend the three-day competition. The event showcases the best young players from around the world – many of whom are expected to become the professionals and potential Major winners of the future.

Golf event chips in with new Scottish PR

The prestigious U.S. Kids Golf European Championship has received a glowing piece of PR in Scotland after being featured in a leading golf magazine.

Pitchcare Magazine ran a feature on the three-day tournament and highlighted how the event would see the cream of the world’s best golfers competing on the links in East Lothian for the title of European Champion.

The tournament is organised by the U.S. Kids Golf Foundation, which aims to promote excellence among junior golfers and to encourage youngsters to forge friendships through the game.
