TRAVEL firm gets green light with Scottish PR.

Scottish travel management firm, Equilibrium Travel Management (EQ) has been featured in the environmental press after revealing it purchased two new hybrid cars in a bid to lower their CO2 emissions.

The two new cars will be used as the firm’s company cars, acting as the primary mode of transport for its eight travel executives.

In addition to this development the firm is also in the process of researching the feasability of installing hydro-electric power project which will harness the power of a natural waterfall which lies on the land to provide clean energy to power EQ.

Franc Jeffrey, Managing Director of EQ said: “We are making a great effort to lessen the environmental impact of our business which we believe is a crucial move to make in these times, especially when you consider that our industry is one of the highest polluters in the planet.”

EQ has also adopted green practices in its day to day business and has launched ‘responsible; travel policies for clients who wish to do their bit in reducing the harm inflicted on the environment through the travelling they undertake.

EQ‘s office – Balmule House near Dunfermline has just been granted a wedding license after significant demand for it to make use of it’s stunning grounds and interiors.
