WATER QUALITY engineering firm Panton McLeod has received more prominent coverage in one of the biggest online business newspapers in the Highlands thanks to Scottish PR.

The Caithness Business Index reported on the firm’s latest project in the Highlands, which involved cleaning one of the main tanks at a water treatment works in Caithness.

A team of engineers from Panton McLeod were called to drain millions of litres of water from the tank at the Loch Calder water treatment works before removing a build up of natural materials from the floor of the facility. The routine work ensures there is no chance for turbidity issues to arise in the water supply.

The project was especially high profile, as the facility was opened by HRH Prince Charles less than a decade ago, and this was the first time that the tank had been completely drained.

The full story can be viewed on the Caithness Business Index website.

Scottish PR exposure for Scotland’s water quality engineers

Panton McLeod has received some valuable new online PR after being featured in an ITV News report about water shortages in the Midlands.

The Borders-based firm was filmed providing emergency services for Severn Trent Water during the recent torrid weather conditions, which resulted in disruption to some household water supplies in villages near Stafford.

Panton McLeod teams were on stand by over the Christmas and New Year period to respond to any emergency cleaning, inspection or repair work that needed to be performed across the whole of the UK. The emergency service allows the country’s biggest water firms to enjoy 24/7 expertise and response to any issues involving structures that are used to store drinking water before it goes into supply.

The ITV report  can be viewed on the TV channel’s official news website. The footage is the latest high profile coverage for Panton McLeod, which is supported by the expertise of Holyrood PR PR in Scotland.
