Cairn Housing Association sprints ahead of rivals as our Scottish PR agency delivers instant PR success

Scottish PR agency delivers instant results for client

THESE days, we’re used to getting things instantly. Messaging, news, banking, they’re all things we can gain access to instantly. And at Holyrood PR we believe that success delivered by your public relations agency should be no different.

Nobody likes waiting around or wondering when they’ll eventually see a return on their investment and it can be frustrating for clients who are left wondering when coverage will start coming in for their brand.

Luckily, our Scottish PR agency doesn’t believe in making our clients wait too long to see the fruits of our labour as Cairn Housing Association found out recently, after it came to us looking for PR support in May 2019.

As one of the country’s leading providers of affordable housing, Cairn wanted to ensure its great work to help create new homes – part of an £8.1 million development in Arbroath – didn’t go unnoticed in the media.

Before the ink was dry on the contract, we set to work to organise the media relations around the opening of new homes at Railton Crescent, which were supported by a grant of over £4.5m from the Scottish Government.

We organised great photography and comment from the local MSP Graeme Dey, while we issued media invites to key local media targets and pulled together a press release to generate maximum coverage across local, national and trade outlets.

And the results certainly didn’t disappoint with host of coverage across key titles. Highlights included;

  • 22 items of media coverage
  • Great national feature in the Sunday Mail
  • Key local coverage in titles such as The Courier and the Arbroath Herald
  • A range of further coverage across trade and online titles

Scottish PR agency Holyrood PR delivers bumper month of coverage for Cairn Housing Association

In just the first month, our PR project resulted in 184,898 opportunities for people to see Cairn’s key messaging and learn more about its five year plan to build more housing across Scotland.

The great burst of activity provides a brilliant base to push on from and develop the housing association’s media presence over the coming months.
