WE HELPED spread the news of CALA Homes recent foray into gardening and we won’t beat around the bush when we say our results were blooming marvelous.
Our client CALA Homes (East) was quick to get involved in National Gardening Week this year, donating gardening equipment and accessories to schools around Edinburgh in order to continue its work providing tangible benefits to local communities.
Pupils at Little Hawthorn Nursery in Loanhead, North Berwick Nursery School, Woodlands Special School in Currie and St Margaret’s Primary School in South Queensferry were all provided with gardening tools. The packs donated included spades, trowels, rakes, watering cans and gloves, the as well as an insect sculpture hotel and seeds to encourage wildlife into the school gardens.
At Holyrood PR, we know the value of local communities when it comes to spreading a story and got straight to work targeting key local print titles, achieving some impressive results.
- An impressive 54,719 opportunities to see over 6 cuttings
- Important local coverage in The Currie and Balerno News, The Midlothian Advertiser both in print and online, as well as the East Lothian courier-key titles to target with positive coverage of CALA’s work within communities.
- Coverage in The Edinburgh Evening News- Edinburgh’s most widely read paper
The coverage we generated from CALA Homes (East) involvement with young gardeners week emphasised its involvement with the local community in the places it mattered most. Hits in the local papers provided an excellent platform to show off CALA’s charitable work with schools and nurseries.
