Glasgow dog park expansion sees sell out opening weekend with help from Scottish PR Agency
THE OPENING of a new Glasgow dog park has seen masses of media attention – thanks to our Scottish PR Agency.
We recently started working with Glasgow based Unleash the Dogs, who were looking to shout about the opening on their third secure dog park in Glasgow.
Created with dogs in mind, our PR experts knew that the flagship 1.5 acre site in Hillington would go down well with the dog-loving general public and local media.
As well as announcing the incredible new site, we showcased that Unleash the Dogs is a local business, ran by local people.
With just a week to prepare, our team worked tirelessly to craft a story showcasing the parks best features as well as the hard work that was put into opening the site. The results were phenomenal, including:
- 31 items of coverage
- More than 2.9 million opportunities to see
- High profile coverage from across the central belt
- Featured in: Glasgow Times, Glasgow Live, Yahoo News and The Renfrewshire Gazette.
Working with Glasgow Live, we were able to secure five pieces of individual coverage from them.
From online articles to posts on social media, they even took their own dogs down to the fields to experience the fun for themselves!
To add to the success, we were also informed that slots were sold out for opening weekend and into the first week!
