29 JAN Edinburgh Now Pg 3 CROP2014 will see Scotland in the global spotlight, and a major conference set up to ensure Scottish businesses are geared up and ready to seize the opportunities presented has made its way into the press, as Edinburgh Now picked up the story today.

The one-day event is being hosted by the Scottish Business Resilience Centre, an organisation who aim to safeguard economic well-being across Scotland.

The conference, Innovation & Resilience: A Positive Future for Business in Scotland, will offer advice from a host of industry leaders, as well as a series of workshops, exhibitions and pop-up shops to provide bosses with practical guidance and information on how to better manage their businesses.

Mandy Haeburn-Little, Director of SBRC, said: “Never has it been so vital that Scotland’s businesses are prepared and ready for everything that will happen in 2014.

“All eyes will be on Scotland in 2014, with the Year of Homecoming, the Commonwealth Games and the upcoming Independence Referendum. So it’s incredibly important for businesses across the country to seize the unprecedented opportunities from this to maximise their potential.”

Tickets for the conference cost £25 plus VAT for SBRC members or £75 plus VAT for non-members.  A discounted rate is available to non-members who are booking five or more places to attend.
