Scots Legal Firm Bolsters Commercial Property Team with Commercial Director Hire

ONE of North East Scotland’s prominent commercial property solicitors has joined an Edinburgh headquartered legal firm – as it targets further growth in the market.

Boyd Legal has secured the services of Shaun Mackintosh – who fresh from a senior Aberdeen-based role – is joining its ranks as it continues the push to establish itself as a leading name on the Scottish legal landscape.

Having previously acted on behalf of property developers, landlords, tenants, games developers, major housebuilders, landowners and global oil companies, and in acquisition and sale of a variety of businesses, Shaun Mackintosh boasts more than 16 years experience at the highest level – and will work from Boyd’s flagship Edinburgh office in the West End.

Now he will make the move to the capital to commit to the most vibrant property market in Scotland and is looking forward to building relationships with new and exisiting clients as well as professional colleagues in the central belt.

The appointment follows hot on the heels of a recent merger with Kirkcaldy-based Gibson & Spears, Dow & Son, and highlights Boyd Legal’s focus to drive forward its growth plans.
