The West Lothian Courier has run a story featuring a local businessman who came to the aid of his fellow residents during the adverse winter weather.

Wayne Gardner Young drove his tractor round the streets of West Lothian clearing snow and helping drivers escape the winter weather.

As an entreprenueral businessman, the 42-year-old owns a number of businesses in the area and beyond, including Victoria’s Nightclub in Glasgow.

Only this month Wayne was granted planning permission to build a five-storey, 70 room luxury hotel in Glasgow’s city centre.

And in the New Year, plans are underway to renovate Victoria’s with a £1.5 million refurbishment.
