Water quality engineering firm Panton McLeod has been celebrating after receiving another high profile piece of media coverage in Edinburgh’s evening newspaper.
The Evening News ran a story about how the company had been inundated with calls and CVs after it posted an advert for a new labourer position for its engineering division.
More than 100 construction workers and civil engineers applied for the junior position in just four days. The newspaper said that the unprecidented interest in the position was a reflection of the dire state of Scotland’s construction industry and how many people were willing to travel far from home to secure a job.
The full article appeared in the Evening News and was the result of a media strategy implemented by Holyrood PR PR in Scotland.
