Social care PR experts look back on hit coverage generated over back-to-back months
CARE GROUP, Mansfield Care, have celebrated two months for hit coverage success thanks to the dedicated social care PR experts at Holyrood PR.
Over the course of November and December our team produced a number of different stories across some of Mansfield Care’s 11 bespoke care homes.
After just starting with the client a month prior, our dedicated social care PR team were able to get the care provider in a variety of different titles at national, regional and local level, across social media, newspapers and websites. Mansfield Care have also featured prominently in industry outlets in this time.
The overall results our social care PR team generated in November and December are:

In November HPR shared heart-warming stories from three of Mansfield Care’s homes across Scotland, totaling in 20 items of coverage.
Bellville Lodge celebrated the British summer, from the comfort of the care home, with seaside activities and fish and chips in paper bags. This saw Mansfield in two print features in respected care titles.
The HPR team the went on to share how residents at two Edinburgh developments joined a virtual sing along celebrating Dame Vera Lynn, resulting in valuable regional coverage in some of Edinburgh’s top titles.
At the end of November HPR shared one of the ways Mansfield are creatively combatting covid restrictions in care homes. A story about the use of personalised activity boxes saw a range of local and care coverage across print, online and digital.
December saw Mansfield hitting the headlines in a festive way after the South Ayrshire girls brigade designed their own Christmas cards for residents at Belhaven House. This saw great coverage from the Ayr Advertiser who used the story in print, online and across social platforms.
Edinburgh Mansfield Care residents received a similar Christmas surprise from pupils at Trinity Academy who gifted Christmas boxes to the home, the story was picked up by The Edinburgh Reporter.
The coverage generated by Holyrood PR over the two months is valuable to Mansfield Care, especially coverage in care titles, as it puts it at the forefront of the care sector, highlighting its bespoke services.
