on behalf of Eagle Couriers
Staff at Scotland’s leading courier company have been celebrating after a recent charity delivery was featured in a high profile postal news website.
Leading industry news site Jobs for Couriers reported on how Eagle Couriers had carried out the unusual piece of charity work, which involved delivering dozens of pairs of “old school” roller boots from Leeds to Scotland and back.
The job was arranged to help Scottish charity Project Ability maximise the profits from its latest fundraising drive – a sold-out roller disco designed to raise funds for the organisation’s new headquarters. Eagle Couriers agreed to waive their fee for the delivery, which helped to bring a box of vintage roller boots up to Scotland to be used at the event.
