Excellent PR in Scotland for Rental Portal with National coverage
Online rental portal Citylets has highlighted key figures for the rental market with the publication of it’s quarterly data report this month.
The only detailed report into the rental sector highlighted that the cost of renting a home in Scotland has continued to rise with the demand for family properties rising sharply.
The average rent in Scotland went up by 2.6% to £664, an indication the market is steadily increasing. There was also further price increases in all of the major cities in Scotland according to the latest Citylets figures.
Dan Cookson, Senior Analyst at Citylets said: “It is welcome news that while the rental market is continuing to expand rapidly in Scotland that on the whole the market appears to be meeting demand which is why increases in rents at the national level tend to be relatively modest.
“This quarter’s figures are reassuringly steady which has continued to cement the confidence in the rental market. The key thing is that the market is steadily expanding at a time when the housing sales market is still in recovery mode.”
