Braemore coverage in the Edinburgh Evening NewsNew statistics from Braemore Property Management about how rent levels are falling in the Capital have been featured in the pages of the Edinburgh Evening News.

The evening newspaper ran a full page story on the report, which showed how some areas of Edinburgh had seen rent levels drop significantly over the past three months due to an oversupply of rented accommodation in the market.

Edinburgh’s rental market has seen an influx of “reluctant landlords” in recent months –  people who have put roperties up for rent after failing to sell them. Braemore has said that this extra supply means that landlords are having to improve their properties and, on occasion, drop their rent price in order to attract tenants and dodge potentially lengthy void periods.
