WHEN ticketing software experts Red61 enjoyed a summer of success, Holyrood PR was on hand to make sure its story reached a massive audience.

We helped the innovative tech start-up to enjoy a double dose of headlines – first when it racked up record Edinburgh Festival Fringe ticket sales, then a short time later when it landed investment funding.

Our first story told how Red61 had been at the heart of the hugely successful 2015 Edinburgh Festival Fringe – the world’s biggest arts event which takes over the Scottish capital every August.

We told how the company’s ‘VIA’ Ticketing System handled astronomic ticket sales of 2.3 million for the Fringe, which also helped the firm’s own revenues exceed £1million for the first time – earning a string of positive headlines in influential media outlets.

Following that milestone, Red61 continued to go from strength to strength, by securing £572,000 in funding from respected Edinburgh Venture Capital firm, Par Equity.

Again, we rolled out that success story to the media – and again a string of top-notch news outlets reported this latest chapter in Red61’s growth story.
