Scores of young golfing elite have flocked to Scotland in an effort to win first place in this yar's U.S. Kids Golf European Championship.

East Lothian News announces start to youth golfing tournament

The championship is the largest junior golf event ever to be held in Europe, with over 550 competitors ranging in age from five years old to eighteen and hailing from all over the globe.

Sports Minister Shona Robinson made an appearance to meet the talented individuals and welcome them to Scotland.
