SANTA RUN PR SUCCESS POST FOR INVEST IN PERTH 2015

SCOTTISH PR helped the city of Perth grabbed the attention of the media when Father Christmases of all ages made their way to the city centre to take part in the City of Perth Winter Festival Santa Run.

Perth’s North Inch looked more like the North Pole on Saturday 12th December when hundreds of Santas descend on the area for the most anticipated race of the winter period – a 5km event which started at the Perth Concert Hall and finish at North Inch.

Shortly after Holyrood PR broke the news that the much loved raced would be taking place again the story was picked up by the Daily Record online and the Evening Telegraph, both in print and online.

One of the main PR objectives of City of Perth Winter Festival was to raise awareness across Scotland of all the events taking place throughout the month of December. By securing features for the Santa run on the Daily Record website and in the Evening Telegraph Holyrood PR created 733,911 opportunities to see, helping massively raise the profile of the City of Perth Winter Festival.

The festive fun run also received pre-event and post-event coverage in The Courier in print and online, as well as featuring in the Perthshire Advertiser, creating a further 257,090 opportunities to see.

By making ripples across national press, as well as a variety of different local news outlets, our expert Edinburgh PR team ensured the wide sharing of City of Perth’s Winter Festival positive ethos.
