Great Tech PR For Reactec In Edinburgh Evening News

LUKE Barnes, the Marketing Manager at Reactec, featured in an article debating whether wearing a tie is a necessity or simply a thing of the past.

Holyrood PR was approached by the Edinburgh Evening News about the piece and asked whether we knew anyone who fit the bill to feature in the article.  Immediately we thought of Luke, so we contacted him and he agreed to take part.

In the article, Luke argues that no, ties are no longer needed in the workplace – or anywhere else for that matter.  He says in the article: “So you have to wonder, just what is the point in a tie?  It does seem a bit weird to loop a narrow strip of coloured silk around your neck then tie a rather complicated knot in it – just to prove you are ‘at work’.

“I’d be quite happy to never put on a tie again and I’m pretty sure most of my colleagues feel the same way.”

The article is a fantastic piece of promotion for Reactec and was secured thanks to the excellent media relations of The Holyrood PR team.

The full article can be viewed at The Scotsman Online, and was secured on behalf of Reactec Ltd by The Holyrood PR.
