Back to school campaign taps into national media thanks to Public Sector PR experts
A campaign led by Scottish Water to encourage school children to top up from the tap as part of their daily school routine flooded the media.
The call to action was part of the ‘Your Water, Your Life’ campaign highlighting the need for individuals of all ages to top up from the tap.
As Scottish children return to the classrooms after the summer break, the campaign hoped to inspire Scots to change their drinking habits, and make the most of their taps, and the Scottish Water Top-up Taps dotted around the country.
After securing an interview and quotes from Health and Nutrition expert Annie Anderson, our team constructed a media release destined to make a splash in the press.
The story achieved the following impressive results:
- 16 items of coverage across print, online and social media
- 137,328 opportunities to see
- Featured in national, regional and local media
- Highlights include The Edinburgh Reporter, Grampian Online, Renfrewshire News, Perth Gazette, The Ellon Times and Deeside Piper & Herald
Through the media release, our public sector PR team were able to secure key media titles in print as well as digital and social media coverage.
This tapped into key audiences across Scotland, creating mass awareness for the Your Water, Your Life campaign and for the important messaging surrounding water consumption.
