Tech startup firm hits the headlines thanks to Scottish PR agency
MAY proved to be a busy month of coverage for one of our newest clients ePOS Hybrid as we helped to highlight the amazing benefits its software delivers to customers across the food and drink industry.
The Edinburgh-based start-up firm has developed an Android-based point of sales app which is able to automate a restaurant or bars’ complete business operation, even if the owner is thousands of miles away.
The digital menu capabilities the technology offers means that restaurants can squeeze in an extra sitting of an evening as staff are able to work more efficiently, meaning on average an extra 30 tables available per night.
We’re experienced in delivering instant results for clients and it’s been no different with ePOS Hybrid. We’ve built on successes in March and April to really take off in May with coverage across a range of media titles and social media.
Firstly, we used our newsjacking skills to spot that stories relating to allergen information and food waste were prominent in the news and acted quickly to turn around two stories for ePOS which explained how its software can provide the solution to these issues.
Not only did this result in widespread coverage and get the ePOS Hybrid name more widely known, it covered two of its key messages and let restaurant owners know that it offered solutions to two major issues.
Not content with this, we worked closely with its talented new Head of Marketing, Andrew Gibbon, to find out more about his role with the firm and experience so far to ensure news of his appointment was widely picked up by the major business desks.
