ONE OF Edinburgh’s landmark hotels, The Murrayfield House Hotel, has hit the headlines this week with news of its recently renovated Bothy Restaurant and Drinkery’s photograph series, thanks to pub and restaurant PR experts.

Encapsulating the hotel’s desire to give the new bar at The Murrayfield a truly ‘local’ feel, neighbours have been asked to supply their own, vintage, black and white images to line the walls, as part of the ‘Murrayfield Memories’ project.

The hotel is particularly interested in receiving images of the local area, old shop fronts, family portraits and pictures of best-loved Murrayfield landmarks, of course, including The Murrayfield Hotel itself.

The Edinburgh Evening News, with a circulation of around 32,000 readers, picked up on the quirky story and featured it in Thursday’s edition of the paper,

The coverage was achieved as part of an ongoing PR campaign for The Murrayfield House Hotel. If you would like to see how quality public relations can benefit your business get in touch with a member of our team for more information.

Everybody Needs Good Neighbours at Opening of New Eatery

One of Edinburgh’s landmark hotels has launched its new gastro pub as part of an extensive makeover- and has been picked up by local newspaper, Edinburgh Evening News who featured the story in its Food News section.

The Bothy Restaurant and Drinkery, set within the old Murrayfield Hotel, welcomed just locals to have the first chance of an exclusive peek at the stunning transformation which is set to bring something completely new to the west end of Edinburgh.

The new eatery which gives a nod to the capital’s rich Scottish heritage through its traditional interiors and old fashioned pub style food, decided that it is very good to be neighbourly and only invited local people and businesses to its exclusive launch night.

News of this opening was picked up in Saturday’s edition of the local newspaper which has a circulation of more than 30,000.

Local Coverage for Murrayfield’s Latest ‘Local’

The Bothy Restaurant and Drinkery launched in style at the landmark Murrayfield House Hotel last week, with an evening of cocktails, canapes and live music exclusively for local guests.

The stunning new bar which boasts exposed stone walls and stripped back wooden floors went down a treat with local invitees as they praised staff for their traditional tartan uniforms, unique cocktail concoctions and delicious, locally sourced food.

The story was picked up by the capital’s local paper Edinburgh Now and included images of the stylish interior.
