Provista UK Ltd awarded “Cisco Gold partner status”

Press releases

IMG_0268A specialist Scottish business has underlined its sector-leading credentials in delivering networking and communications solutions by being awarded Cisco Gold Partner status – currently the only independent firm with HQ in Scotland to be awarded the certification.

Provista UK Ltd was awarded the prestigious title after demonstrating that it had exceeded rigorous standards across all areas of its business operations with global IT giant Cisco, covering technical competency, service, support and customer satisfaction.

The Cisco Gold partner status, the highest possible partner level from Cisco – achieved by only 2% of UK firms, cements Provista UK Ltd’s decision to invest heavily in staff development & cloud services, whilst remaining as an independent firm offering on premise and cloud business solutions in Data Centre, Security, Networking and Collaboration technologies.

Co-founder and Operations Director Barry Oliver commented “Our Cisco journey has been amazing, we have learned so much over the years with the support of our Cisco colleagues.

“Our staff have been outstanding and have proven themselves time and time again to be loyal, professional and completely customer focused.  Joining an elite set of Cisco Gold partners in our tenth year is testament to the efforts of all our staff and the support of our loyal customers.”

Sales Director Stuart Little said the accolade – coming in the 10th anniversary year of the Hamilton-based business – shows the attraction of a specialist firm that can offer products and services that rival the larger cumbersome competitors, while also offering customers the service, flexibility and agility customers should expect.

He said: “To be the only Cisco Gold Partner with a HQ in Scotland is an astounding achievement for Provista UK.  From the date we signed up as a Registered Cisco Partner, we have grown organically year-on-year and moved through all partner levels and to larger offices.  That has only been possible thanks to our constant investment in staff and growth, while never losing sight of the need to maintain the very highest levels of customer service.”

We focus on delivering not just projects but working with our business customers to deploy transformational services that produce real business outcomes. By being more agile than larger networking or cloud experts, we can embrace technologies quickly and offer them to customers with the reassurance of a personalised, high quality service.”

Angela Whitty (Managing Director, UK & Ireland Partner Organisation) – “The Cisco Gold Certification is Cisco’s highest level of Partner Certification, for Provista UK to achieve this certification is testament to their broad expertise across Cisco’s Architectural portfolio.  What a fantastic achievement well done to the whole team.”

Richard Roberts (Managing Director, Partner & Commercial Sales, UK & Ireland) – “Over the last 10 years Provista UK has been a strong strategic partner for Cisco particularly in Scotland, the achievement of the Cisco Gold Partner Certification is further evidence of the investment, commitment and determination both Cisco and Provista have to our partnership.”

Last year Provista UK was named Cisco’s Partner of the Year in Scotland for 2015.
