Property Maintenance Service Celebrates PR Success With Evening News Coverage
Tuesday, July 14th, 2009
Property maintenance expert One Call Home Assist has been celebrating after receiving another high-profile piece of coverage in the Edinburgh Evening News.
The daily newspaper reported on a recent survey carried out by the firm, which revealed that the most common time for mishaps and repairs in Edinburgh properties was between 3.30pm and 5pm on a Friday.
Director John Dickson said that as many people tend to put off maintenance jobs during the week, the firm receives a large number of calls from panicky owners on Friday when they realise that the faults need to be addressed. He added that small defects or faults are likely to grow worse during the week, and that owners rush to get them fixed before the weekend, as they do not want to pay higher costs for emergency repairs.
The full coverage appeared in the Evening News and came as the result of a media campaign by Holyrood Partnership PR in Edinburgh.
