We helped Stoer Lighthouse make a splash across the headlines

Stoer Lighthouse Media Montage for Property PR

Our client Bell Ingram was keen to announce the arrival to the market of Stoer Lighthouse – the ultimate retreat for househunters seeking a truly remote and historic living experience.

Dating back to the 1870’s, Stoer Lighthouse was designed by the father of Robert Louis Stevenson. It is nestled in one of the furthest most peninsulas of Assynt – with the nearest neighbour in a small scattering of crofts two kilometres away.

The unique property – which was automated in 1978 – comprises of two two-bedroom apartments and an external bothy all within its walled grounds, offering the opportunity for buyers to continue the current owner’s holiday letting business or to convert it into a larger home in a stunning unique location.

Our aim was to ensure our story on this rare beacon of light reached as many househunters as possible.

As experts in the field of property PR, we had substantial success promoting this property far and wide, with the story appearing across a total of 12 publications and creating a staggering 5,347,341 opportunities to see.

Highlights included:

  • Key coverage on the Financial Times and the Sun – a great success as these publications can be harder to hit with property stories
  • Widespread national coverage both in print and online across The Times (Bricks & Mortar), The Sunday Times, Daily Express, The Herald and The Sunday Post
  • Further great pieces in Scottish Field and the Northern Times
