BUYERS hunting for a perfect family home have had their prospects boosted following the launch of the second phase at a major West Lothian development.

Following a strong run of sales off the back of growing demand for space, home offices and connecting gardens, Dundas Estates has a new collection of homes available at its Uphall Station development.

This includes four and five bedroom family properties, as well as three-bedroom detached and semi-detached homes, within reach of many budgets.

Heather Birrell, Sales Manager with Livingston-based Dundas Estates, believes the key characteristics of the development, with more than £16m in sales to date, is what is making it even more appealing as demand changes as a result of the last year.

She said: “This is a milestone development for us, bringing large spacious homes within reach of both the capital and many families’ budgets.

“The near sell-out of phase one and the unveiling of our second phase comes as the development is beginning to really take shape. It’s a lovely, tranquil location.

“All industry reports are showing a growing demand for space, gardens, genuine access to countryside – and room for home offices. Our homes at Uphall Station allow buyers to tick all those boxes.”

Uphall Station is a small, family-friendly community near Livingston, featuring quiet neighbourhoods and connectivity with nearby towns, cities and countryside.

The Dundas development, consisting a total of 266 homes and launched from two Eileen Kesson-designed showhomes in spring 2018, features high-spec homes.

Kitchens and bathrooms are tailor made for modern family living, with SMEG appliances in the kitchens, with customisable Porcelanosa tiling and choice of vanity furniture in the bathrooms and en suites.

The five-bed “Maitland” covers 1750 square feet excluding the internal garage, giving a growing family three floors of flexible space. Recently released Plot 49 is available for £365,000.

The semi-detached three bedroom “Robson” at plot 57 is available for £213,500 and includes a spacious open plan kitchen living space. A main bedroom includes an en suite in addition to the first floor family bathroom and two further bedrooms.

Dundas Estates is a multi-award winning, friendly and independent homebuilder which creates homes that make people feel great. It is proudly independent and Scottish-owned, with a track record of building well-designed homes.
