Double Bundles of Joy For New Neighbours in Currie

Property PR experts announce first births at luxury housing development

TWO new mums have been gifted surprise hampers from an upmarket homebuilder, after giving birth to the first babies at a new build home development within just days of each other.

Neighbours Rosie Considine and Louise Inglis moved into CALA Homes (East’s) Kinleith Mill development in Currie just three months ago, and quickly bonded through photographing newborns and their shared pregnancies.

Now, the community focused developer has helped the babies settle into their new homes with the generous hampers – which include a cuddly lion, baby book and relaxing candle – to celebrate the latest additions to the Kinleith Mill neighbourhood.

Rosie said: “It was such a lovely surprise when the CALA Sales Advisors popped round with the surprise baby hampers for myself and Louise.

“It was a really unexpected but very much appreciated gesture and just goes to show that the homebuilder goes the extra mile to attend to the communities that it creates.

“It was great to have Louise as a neighbour, to support each other throughout our pregnancies, and I’m looking forward to watching our babies grow and become friends, just as we have.”

Philip Hogg, Sales and Marketing Director at CALA Homes (East), said: “At CALA, we are committed to bringing people together and building communities – not just developments of houses.

“We aim to create a real sense of neighbourliness and what could be more so than two neighbours bonding over their growing families and sharing this wonderful experience together.

“We wish Rosie and Louise all the best and are sure we will have the opportunity to meet and get to know many more of our customers building their families at our developments in the future.”

CALA invests in the communities where it develops and has two developments in the Currie area, Kinleith Mill – an idyllic, tree-lined development by the Water of Leith, and The Meadow – an intimate development that is now down to its final  home, so potential buyers are urged to get in quick before the exclusive collection is entirely sold out.
