Primark’s Public Consultation For Flagship Store In Edinburgh

Primark in Herald and PostHigh street fashion giant Primark has earned valuable newspaper coverage to highlight an important public consultation exercise.

As one of the best known retailers in the country, Primark recently announced it has completed purchase of a building on Scotland’s most famous shopping street.

Now it is carrying out an extensive public consultation exercise, required under recently introduced Scottish planning laws, to seek opinion on how the finished building should look.

As part of the process, Primark has set up a website, called Have Your Say, where anyone can log in to express their views and opinions and to share comments with others.

The innovative use of social media in the planning consultation process has attracted coverage in various media – inlcuding the Edinburgh Herald & Post.

It is a weekly title with a strong shopping and consumer focus which is distributed to more tha 80,000 homes int heScottish capitle. Now it has reported how members of the public are being invited to express their views on the dedicated website.
