Primark achieve party ready PR and media coverage in local newspaper

The anticipated launch of Primark on Edinburgh’s Princes Street has been captured by The Edinburgh Evening News fashion pages in a Christmas party themed photo shoot.

With the store opening at the beginning of party season Holyrood PR identified the fashion pages as an excellent target opportunity to showcase the amazing collections available to shoppers at the Flagship store.

The Holyrood team arranged for a fashion shoot to take place at George Street’s Tiger Lily – the perfect glamorous surroundings for the affordable Christmas party outfits. The team were also responsible for styling the shoot and selected a series of outfits designed to show of Primark’s products.

The accompanying article in the Edinburgh Evening News highlights, the anticipation surrounding the new store which will be Primark’s flagship Scotland store offering shoppers 75,000 sq ft of retail space.

It is described as just as important to the city centre shopping thoroughfare as Harvey Nichols and will act as a magnet for customers and commercial rivals keen to exploit the anticipated spike in footfall around the outlet.

The Edinburgh store will be Primark’s 19th store in Scotland and just one of 232 Primark stores across the UK and Europe.
