I-on magazine which features news about Edinburgh’s and Scotland’s latest hotspots, has ran an article on the soulful jazz music that will now accompany wine lovers at Divino Enoteca.

The traditional Italian wine and antipasti bar, is known for its extensive wine selection and also as the first Scottish venue to use state of the art enomatioc wine dispensing technology to ensure the perfect serve each time.

Now with a twice weekly offering of jazz music by renowned artist Dani Iannerelli the venue is hoping to be just as well known for it’s live music offering.

Featuring a selection of jazz, soul and blues clasics the two piece act will provide the perfect atmosphere to accomapny the fine and rare wines on offer at Divino Enoteca.

Low cost airline Ryanair which is used by millions of travellers from across Europe and the rest of the world each year, has featured Divino Enoteca as the place to drink in it’s two minute city guide.

The guide which provides travellers with information on the best places to eat, drink, stay and see in key cities in Europe and is a regular feature of the monthly publication, which is given to passengers as they board their flights.

Described as Scotland’s first wine bar modelled on the traditional Italian enoteche, Divino Enoteca enables wine lovers across Scotland to sample some of Italy and the world’s finest vintages – without having to catch a Ryanair flight to do so!

It is the first venue in Scotland to use state of the art Enomatic wine dispensing technology to preserve the flavour and body of the wine, ensuring the perfect serve every time.

Within the venue’s extensive wine list, they stock Scotland’s most expensive bottle of Italian wine a rare 1997 Toscana Masseto which sells at £850 a bottle making it a definite draw for wine lovers.

Business 7, the leading Scottish business journal, reported on how the proprietors of Divino Enoteca had imported an unusual addition to its decor in Edinburgh’s Old Town.

Owner Tony Crolla explained how he wanted to recreate a true feel of Italy in the new venue – by sourcing an olive tree all the way from fields in his Italian home town. The 12ft tree has been transported more than 1,200 miles, travelling over land and sea, to take pride of place in the centre of Divino Enoteca’s Italian courtyard.

The Dram carried a glowing review of the new Divino Enoteca venue in Edinburgh’s Merchant Street, which has been created to provide a nightspot for the city’s wine afficinados.

The publication, which reports on news from Scotland’s food and drink sector, highlighted the extensive range of wines available at the new bar, as well as the special tasting rooms that had been created in the venue. It also reported on the wide range of traditional Italian antipasti that was on offer to customers.
