Graduate Placement Programme
PR Interns
Make The Headlines … Not The Tea.
Talent should be nurtured and encouraged to flourish. At Holyrood PR we love having hungry young minds to feed, so have a constantly rolling intern programme. We throw our PR interns in at the deep end where they get a real taste of public relations, not just a dreary diet of filing and kettle duties
Ideally we like those who take up placements with us to commit for a month. That way we both get real value from the experience. Many of our best staff landed full time positions with us after intern placements. While we can’t guarantee a job, we promise you won’t be bored. Fancy it? Send your CV and a short cover note to info@holyroodpr.co.uk or fill in the form at the bottom of the page.
Our next slot for our placement programme is in autumn 2024.

I am grateful for the invaluable experience gained during my internship at Holyrood PR, as it laid the foundation for my career. Working on real client projects exposed me to the dynamic nature of communications and equipped me with the practical knowledge needed to thrive in this fast-paced industry.

I attended three trips with the team to capture coverage for the Holyrood PR social media channels. One of the highlights was visiting Portobello beach and attending a dementia-friendly walking group, which was being filmed for STV and featured on the news that night.

I would recommend this experience to anyone; I have learnt so much in just four weeks. I would advise people who don’t know what they want to do after school or university to jump at this opportunity and give it a go. What’s the worst that could happen?!

I have had a brilliant time on the placement. I have found it incredibly beneficial, not only in allowing me to experience the day-to-day running of a PR firm but also in teaching me transferable skills that I can put on my CV.

I’m settled back in London and loving it - working for a major comms agency. My time at Holyrood PR gave me an absolutely invaluable base when I started out at my current workplace, and I still often go back to bits that I learned at the Graduate Placement Programme - to be honest, I can’t thank you all enough for the support you provided during my placement.
