The gran who loves Naan
Margaret Phillips celebrated her 103rd at her home in Bupas Balcarres Care Home. She attributes her long life and good health to fine indian cusine as well as keeping fit and active – and a small dram of whiskey before bed.

When our Account Exec Alie asked 103 year old Bupa resident Margaret Phillips what her secret to a long-life was she was surprised to hear that she had spent many years of her life living in India and attributed it to spicy curries and a nip of whisky every night before dinner.

This got the team’s creative juices flowing resulting in a great quirky story entitled – Nan who loves naan – see what we did there?

Our story got incredible coverage for Bupa in a whole host of influential titles, including The Scottish Sun, STV News, The Herald, The Courier, The Evening Times and The National, to name but a few. The total number of opportunities to see generated by the coverage is 1.1 million and rising. Now that is award winning coverage!
