PR agency celebrates star photo stories

How does this PR agency let photos tell the story?

19th August is world photography day and avid viewers out there will know this is cause for celebrating here at Holyrood PR agency in Edinburgh.

We love using photography, so much so, one of our nominations at the upcoming Chartered Institute of PR awards is for, well you guessed it – best use of photography. So what better way to begin this week’s round up than with a fantastic picture story that will have you licking your lips.

New floral flavours have been created especially for the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh. The Garden’s exclusive catering partner, Sodexo Prestige has been working with experts at Scotland’s best known ice cream lab to develop the new flavours. Now the delicate rose, jasmine and lavender ices, specially produced by Mackie’s of Scotland, will be on sale exclusively to Garden visitors over the rest of the summer. First to test out the flavours were these excited schoolgirls, all from the Mackie family - sisters Adrienne and Krissie Mackie and their cousins Lucy and Katie McNutt (c) Wullie Marr/HPR For pic details, contact Wullie Marr........... 07989359845Our client Sodexo Prestige partnered with renowned ice cream producers Mackie’s of Scotland to create three new floral flavours. The rose, jasmine and lavender flavours will be delighting visitors at the Royal Botanic Gardens Edinburgh, where Sodexo is the exclusive catering partner.

We were quick to spot the huge potential in the story and how best to bring it to life – with a selection of top quality images. Our brilliant snapper raced down to the beautiful venue to make the most of the recent sunshine to get the pictures.

Those fantastic images, not only pleased our client and our staff back at the PR agency, but lit up the front page in the Edinburgh Evening News, the pages of the Press & Journal and gaining widespread web coverage via STV online, two online business titles and across Conference & Events news sites.

Property PR Public Relations for Warners courtesy of Holyrood PR, EdinburghCan you picture your perfect home? Chances are, our client Warners have sold one just like it this year. With more than 200 house sales since the start of the year, the number one property Solicitors and Estate Agent in Edinburgh has been more than successful in maintaining its market leading dominance.

We have been helping show off their successes and this week was no different after securing Partner Scott Brown an opinion piece in one of their target titles with a reach of over 50,000.

Thanks to the clever pitching at the PR agency office, the Scotsman property supplement featured Scott’s opinion that Scotland’s housing market is experiencing its latest phenomenon – the emergence of the ‘New Bank of Mum and Dad’.

Cotton Club launch releaseLastly, we have been playing our cards right this summer, securing some ace coverage for the Cotton Club casino, situated at Glasgow’s award-winning Corinthian Club.

Despite images of the newly designed 1920s-style boutique casino and cocktail lounge being closely kept under wraps until the official launch, we still managed to successfully secure a full deck of coverage in the run up to the big event with story featuring in The Herald, The Glasgow Evening Times and online business site, Daily Business Group.
